Marina Akopian

Marina Akopian is President of Baker Global and a seasoned investment management executive with more than 25 years of experience across institutional finance, asset management, and portfolio strategy.

She began her career in London as an Investment Analyst with the asset management division of Pictet & Cie, and later managed portfolios for leading institutions including State Street Global Advisors and Barings Asset Management. She also co-founded an award-winning asset management boutique in partnership with Ignis Asset Management, later acquired by Standard Life.

At Baker Global, Ms. Akopian brings deep investment discipline and international financial-market experience to the firm’s work with institutional investors and strategic partners.
