Guven Giray

Guven Giray is known as a leading developer of middle-income residential and mixed-use real estate projects in Mexico, with operations spanning five cities. Beyond real estate, Guven is engaged in innovative ventures, including a biofuel-powered containerized modular data center project in Mexico, as well as equity interests in a U.S.-based dedicated private cloud platform and an AI-enabled predictive maintenance solutions business.

Guven brings a distinguished decade-long career in investment banking, having held senior roles including Managing Director at Alfa Bank Russia in London; Managing Director and Head of Product for Russia and EMEA at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette in London and New York; and Director and Head of Product for Russia and EMEA at ING Barings in London.

Earlier in his career, he served at the European Commission’s DG IV Competition division in Brussels and as Adviser to the Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to the European Union.

Guven is called to the Bar of England and Wales and is a member of the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple. His academic credentials include an LLM from the University of Cambridge and qualification as a Barrister-at-Law. He holds dual citizenship of the United Kingdom and the Republic of Cyprus and is a Permanent Resident of Mexico.
