Hassan Abassi

Hassan is an international consultant, lobbyist, and private adviser to public and private decision-makers in Morocco and abroad. He held senior roles in the Moroccan government, including Personal Adviser to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Chief of Staff to the Ministers of Environment and Public Administration, before transitioning to the private sector to support CEOs and high-net-worth individuals in global business development.

He previously managed a UK public fund in Morocco for over five years, delivering high-level technical expertise to government departments and NGOs, and currently serves as Country Director for a US company leading a major decarbonisation project.

Hassan lived in the UK for 16 years, where he earned a BA (Honours) in Economics and Management, an MSc in International Political Economy, and pursued doctoral studies in International Relations.
